After 15 years of being a photographer full time I finally made a point of having my parents in studio for some portraits. I photograph and edit photos of other people all the time, but very rarely do I stop and think to photograph those closest to me. So I am glad to finally have made some time for these portraits.
Legacy portraits, for those that dont know, is an exclusive styled studio session that captures the essence of an individual, couple, a parent / child or family relationship. They are the gift of property (photographs) to be handed down through generations. Think of it as something tangible that your loved ones can remember you by when you are no longer here.
We photographed legacy portraits and personal branding type headshots as well as a cute group shot of all 3 of us together at the end. I love how they turned out.
This is your reminder to be in photographs. Stop waiting for the “perfect moment”. That moment doesn’t exist and before you know it 15 years will have passed by and you wont have any good photos of you with your loved ones.
