I approach the shoot day as though you are a long lost friend (or friends). We chat, we laugh, we make jokes, we go with the flow and I capture authentic moments as they unfold.
There will be no stiff, awkward posing, no big fancy equipment. We take whatever weather we get on the day of your shoot and we work with it.
You only realise how important a phase of life or moment is after it’s gone.
It brings me so much joy to know that there are humans out there who value the gift that photography is, and who want to freeze moments in time to look back on in years to come. I look forward to capturing these special milestones and moments for you and your loved ones.

I have been obsessed with boudoir photography since post-lockdown when and we could be around people again. Since then I have been trying to figure out where I fit into the genre. Surely there had to be something in between that was more than just a portrait or only boudoir.
Enter the term “Sensual portraits”.
It makes my heart so happy to hear that clients have a transformational time on these shoots.

Nadinka and Renier called me the day after lockdown was announced and asked me if I was available to shoot their elopement the next day. What a crazy, bizarre, beautiful day.
Jenna contacted me with a clear vision of what she wanted for her shoot.
We brainstormed to come up with a concept that would be a visual representation of both her as a person and the message that she wanted to convey about her brand.
I finally got around to having my parents in studio. We shot some legacy portraits with some personal branding type photos of each of them, as well as a group shot of the 3 of us together.
We have a 30 minute chat online where we get to know each other. I ask you questions that will help me to get to know you better. This will allow me to find out what your intentions are behind doing the shoot, as well as what you are hoping to get out of it. This covers everything from your reason for wanting to do the shoot to any concepts or ideas that you have for it as well as wardrobe ideas.
I give you tips on the next steps forward as well as some homework for you to do so that we are on the same page as to exactly what you are looking to get out of your photoshoot.
Your session starts with being pampered by one of our amazing hair and make up artists.
The shoot consists of two looks (or more, depending on the package you choose).
The looks and set options will depend on the themes or vibes that we discuss in your clarity session.
I take the time to pre-select only the best of your images which are edited and uploaded for you to choose from. It is up to you which images are to be in your final selection.
Each package includes a certain amount of images. If you love your final images so much that you want more images than was included in your chosen package, pricing will be shared with you before your reveal so that you are confident in your final selection.
