1 of 20 This project is part of an important business objective, as such; it is the clients responsibility to provide all appropriate resources and information upfront, before quoting occurs, as required to assist in this project This includes a detailed, written brief as to what images are expected out of the shoot, as well as declaring where the images are intended to be used (personal use, commercial, advertising etc). If a detailed, written brief is not provided
and not all of the images expected are captured, KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY cannot be held responsible for any images that were not detailed or that were expressed verbally but not
captured.
2 of 20. In the case of a multi-discipline project the client will make available the necessary
subject matter experts familiar with the business aspects covered by this project. These
subject matter experts will be responsible for assisting the KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY
employee with all information relevant to complete the project.
3 of 20. This quote is for KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY only. If any images from the
shoot are to be used in any local or international Above The Line (Print) Advertising, it is the
clients’ responsibility to declare so at the time of quoting. It is to be discussed before the shoot
between both parties, and an agreement shall be reached and stated in the final, signed off
quotation, before the shoot, or after the shoot if/when the situation arises. Once an agreement
and an amount has been discussed and agreed upon between the two parties, the images may
be used in Below The Line Advertising (online and social media) without consent from KAT
GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY.
4 of 20. All copyright remains in my (KAT GRUDKO) name unless otherwise stated on the
quote. Usage rights, publishing rights and printing rights are included in the shoot fee for a 12
month period from date of shoot, unless otherwise stipulated on the quote.
5 of 20. KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY does not give out unedited images, unless
discussed with client prior to the shoot and otherwise stipulated on the quote. You will receive
the number of edited images stated in the package that you chose or that is stated on the
quote. You will NOT receive all images from the shoot.
6 of 20. KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY will invoice the client for services rendered at the
end of each agreed phase, as detailed.
7 of 20. If the shoot is less than a half day (4 hours) and the location is more than 30 minutes
away from the KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY premises, time will be billed for
accordingly.
8 of 20. Payment terms are half (50%) of payment before the shoot date, which secures your
booking, and the remaining half (50%) due before sign-off and hand-over of the work as
detailed in the above quotation. If the client postpones the shoot for any reason the 50%
deposit falls away and another 50% deposit will be needed to secure a new booking at a later
date. If full payment is not received at handover, or the agreed 7-10 working days after the
image selection has been received from the client for individuals, or as per some companies
30-day payment policy, a 10% interest fee will incur per month of the outstanding invoice.
(PLEASE NOTE: Wedding shoot terms are 50% upon booking and the balance the week of,
or latest, day of the wedding.)
9 of 20. Payment of the 50% deposit, quote in full and/or invoice will be taken as acceptance
that the Standard Terms & Conditions document has been read, understood and accepted by
the client.
10 of 20. If a shoot is cancelled any less than 48 hours before the shoot starting time, a 50%
cancellation fee will be charged. If cancelled on the day of the shoot, or with less than 12
hours notice, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

11 of 20. All amounts referred to in this document exclude V.A.T., unless otherwise stipulated.
12 of 20. All quoted amounts are based on the South African Rand and are subject to changes
based on the current Rate of Exchange, if applicable.
13 of 20. All forecasts and recommendations are made in good faith and on the basis of
information supplied. In consequence, no statement in any oral or written form will constitute
a representation, undertaking, warranty or contractual term.
14 of 20. This quote has been sent out as an estimation of the final invoice amount. It may not
reflect the exact amount that will be invoiced. Photography is not an exact science and if the
shoot does run over time, it will be discussed between KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY and
the client on the shoot, before continuing the shoot, and any extra time, or part thereof, will be
billed for additionally by the hour.
15 of 20. The client will not have any claim against KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY for
any loss or damage, which the Client may directly or indirectly suffer by reason of any
inaccuracies in our recommendations, provided that such inaccuracies are not as a result of
our negligence or willful act.
16 of 20. The client will not be entitled to withhold or defer payment of any fees and under no
circumstances have any claim against KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY for any
consequential loss, howsoever caused.
17 of 20. Force Majeure: Both Parties will not be liable for any delay in performing or failure
to perform their obligations if such failure or delay is as a result of causes outside of their
reasonable control.
18 of 20. KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY will not be held accountable for delays in
deliverables if not permitted to operate within the standard KAT GRUDKO
PHOTOGRAPHY methodologies and procedures.
19 of 20. KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY, its employees or sub contractors shall comply
with all office rules and regulations, including security requirements, when on the Client’s
premises.
20 of 20. KAT GRUDKO PHOTOGRAPHY has the right to amend the Terms & Conditions
at any given time.
